The RMH Wellness Center
will offer an opportunity to hear and meet Tosca Reno, New York Times best-selling author, nutrition and fitness expert, motivational speaker and over-50 fitness model, from 9 a.m.–noon June 15.
Reno is author of Your Best Body Now and The Eat-Clean Diet® series, which has sold more than two million copies worldwide. She is one of the leading North American health and wellness experts fighting the battle against obesity. Reno holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees and is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). She sits on the boards of the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).
Admission to this event is free, but a donation to the RMH Wellness Center Medical Needs Scholarship Fund is requested. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing to participate in exercise demonstrations.
Reno will give a 45-minute presentation with exercise demonstrations, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session. During her presentation, participants will learn:
- Reno’s discovery of the power of nutrition and exercise and what it can do
- The benefits of Eating Clean
- The role of physical fitness (Reno’s 80-10-10 formula)
- How to squeeze an effective workout into a short period of time
Reno’s books will be for sale and she will be available for book signing.
Reno is also the keynote speaker for the RMH Funkhouser Women’s Center dedication ceremony
to be held 2-4 p.m. on the RMH Health Campus the same day.
