More than 100 family members and friends watched the students receive diplomas, graduation pins and flower bouquets. A reception followed the graduation.

Following graduation, students take a national certification examination to become certified radiologic technologists. All of the students passed the exam. Kimble, Jenkins and Newman are employed at RMH. The rest are pursuing further education or employment elsewhere.

The RMH School of Radiologic Technology, accredited in 1966, is a two-year program that trains students in diagnostic radiological technology. Students who enter the RMH program include recent high school graduates as well as older adults seeking a career change.
