Doing Better Today (DBT)
A group for adults which meets once a week and is designed to teach participants the skills of mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. Participants learn new skills; report on homework experiences and practice. Through learning to suspend judgment, increasing awareness and acceptance, regulating emotions and using more effective interpersonal skills, group members begin to use effective strategies to optimize their life.
Adolescent Doing Better Today (DBT)
This adolescent version meets once a week and is designed to teach participants the skills of mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. Participants learn new skills; report on their homework experience and practice. Through learning to suspend judgment, increasing awareness and acceptance, regulating emotions and using more effective interpersonal skills, group members begin to use effective strategies to optimize their life.
Adults in this group meet once a week and explore how to make changes that will support health and minimize concerns related to substance use. Ongoing abstinence is not a requirement for this group.
Evening chemical dependency group for adults committed to abstinence from chemicals and developing a lifestyle of recovery. Participants meet in the evenings, once or twice per week to work on their goals.
Adolescent Substance Abuse Group
Weekly group for 13-18 year olds offering a safe setting where participants interact with staff and each other, expressing feelings and experiences. Adolescents whose drug or alcohol abuse is interfering with personal safety, achievements, and healthy family communication benefit from these services.
Adults who have completed intensive treatment in our IOP or elsewhere attend weekly group sessions to continue their work on abstinence and recovery. Morning and Evening sessions of this group are offered to fit most schedules.
Support Group Opportunities
Spousal Loss Support Group: This group offers adults who have lost a spouse or partner time to share stories and experience support, care and strength for the journey through grief.

No. Participants are not required to divulge personal or relational information.
